"I was a member of Askeaton Pool & Leisure for a couple of months and while I was making slight progress with fitness and weight-loss I was quiet aimless. I unbelievably looking back now, didn’t realise I had as much weight to lose as I did and I was quiet happy plodding along. Declan then took me under his wing and instilled a love of fitness and training in me that is still in me today, his passion for it rubbed off on me.
I started to train with him early in the mornings and he patiently and at times painstakingly (I am not the best student) thought me the correct way to do most things!
